1. Who we are

This website and the digital travel guides sold on it are operated by AG, trading as Before You Goo ("we", "us", "our"), reachable at contact@beforeyougoo.com. By accessing this website or buying a guide you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles the payment, invoicing, tax collection, customer service inquiries relating to the order and returns. Your contract for the purchase is with Paddle, while the guide itself is created and supplied by AG.

3. What you buy

We sell digital travel guides delivered as a downloadable PDF immediately after payment. There is no physical product and nothing is shipped. Access to the download link is granted once payment is confirmed.

4. Licence and intellectual property

All content on this website and in the guides, including text, photography, video, maps and design, is owned by AG or its licensors. When you buy a guide you receive a personal, non exclusive, non transferable licence to use it for your own travel planning. You may not resell, redistribute, publish, share publicly or create derivative works from the guide without our written permission.

5. Acceptable use policy

You may use our website and guides only for lawful, personal travel planning. You agree not to, and not to attempt to:

• copy, scrape, resell, redistribute, publicly share or create derivative works from our content
• bypass payment, access paid content without purchasing it, or circumvent any technical protection
• interfere with the security, availability or performance of the website, including probing, scanning, overloading, or uploading malicious code
• use the website or guides for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive or harmful purpose
• send spam, harvest data, or infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of anyone else
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the service

Breach of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of access, without refund beyond what our Refund Policy or applicable law requires.

5a. AI acceptable use

The Personalize trip feature uses generative AI to adapt an itinerary to the preferences you describe. When using it you agree not to submit prompts or generate content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, defamatory, discriminatory, or that impersonates a real person, and not to attempt to bypass the safety limits of the feature.

You retain ownership of the prompts you submit. By submitting a prompt you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the personalised output. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you input, for how you use the output, and for verifying anything important before relying on it.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. It is travel inspiration only and is not professional, legal, medical, financial or safety advice. Always check opening times, access, road conditions and local rules before travelling.

We may filter, refuse, remove or restrict prompts and outputs, and may suspend access for repeated or serious misuse. If you believe content infringes your rights, email contact@beforeyougoo.com with details and we will review it and act, including terminating repeat infringers.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the website, a guide or any account feature, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, abused the service, or engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity. Where access is terminated for a breach, no refund is due beyond what our Refund Policy or applicable law requires.

7. Travel information disclaimer

Our guides are personal recommendations. Opening times, prices, road conditions and local rules change. We do our best to keep information accurate but we do not guarantee it, and you are responsible for your own travel decisions, insurance, safety and compliance with local law.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the website or a guide is limited to the amount you paid for that guide. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and contact
